A 1920s villa renovation in Lower Hutt

When homeowners Maureen and Tuhoro Haua first contacted SKYLINE ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS LTD, they wanted to update their 1920s villa’s kitchen. However, with some further thought, they decided to make a few further improvements to their home; this included renovating the bathroom, retiling a heat pump, recessing the TV and re-painting areas of their home’s interior and exterior. 

A new home design

Following an initial consultation, renovation specialist Mark Morrison worked with the pair to establish a new kitchen design which suited their budget. From there, the renovation work began. This included installing the new kitchen (with some help from the team at Stylish Interiors), painting the interior and exterior of the home, and improving a few minor details within the home.

The new tiling creates a serene coastal theme in the home’s kitchen and living area, effectively contrasting with the wooden floors and newly painted white walls. The updated kitchen is now modern, functional and aesthetically pleasing.
